Ann Curry

Ann Curry is a photojournalist, journalist and author who has been covering areas of war for over forty-five years. Her work focuses on the human suffering of disasters and human tragedy. Curry was a reporter in war zones like Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Curry's mom is Japanese and her father is another American Naval Sailor. Curry met her mother when she was working alongside her father in Japan in the aftermath of World War II. Curry graduated from the University of Oregon awarded her the degree of bachelor of arts in journalism.
