Huston was born on the 8th of July 1951, to John Huston and Enrica (a former ballerina) Huston. Huston's family relocated out of California in 1953 and moved to County Wicklow. They then relocated to a manor house in County Galway. Huston lived the bulk of her early childhood on the estate, which was secluded. Her father was often at work on film sets. She then specialized in film acting in particular in City Lit & the Actors centre. Anna appeared in numerous TV commercial, film and stage productions during the span of eight years after her education.
